Planning Ahead for Profitable Online Holiday Sales

Written by Kelley Hopper on November 22nd, 2009

There are lots of holidays celebrated every year but if you don’t plan 60-90 days ahead you may miss your opportunity for sales.  Listing items that make great gifts will surely be overlooked by potential buyers who need to get the item BEFORE the holiday.  Make a calendar of holidays that the items you find may fit into.  Maybe you have some cute plush stuffed bunny rabbits that won’t sell in the heat of the Summer but will sell well at Easter.  Make sure you give yourself enough time to get your items listed so the buyers can find them.  The earlier you list them the higher the probability the items will be indexed by the search engines too.
