Vintage Magazines Can Be Goldmines
Written by Kelley Hopper on January 11th, 2010Magazines are big sellers on eBay. There is a market for both vintage magazines as well as more common current issues. The great thing about magazines is that they can be found at many garage and estate sales as well as thrift stores.
We all know there are some vintage Time magazines and Playboy and magazines from the early part of last century. This rare Mickey Mouse Magazine went for a whopping $1750.
Or this Corvette News from 1957 that just sold for $511.51.

More recent issues sell well too but usually in sets or years. Domino magazine was published from 2005 to 2009. A Buy-It-Now ended for a complete set of this now defunct publication for $495. Have any Domino magazines around?
A complete set of all eight issues of Martha Stewart’s Blueprint magazines is fetching prices as high as $50 and lots of 6 or 8 Martha Stewart Wedding magazines are bringing in $24.
Look for magazines whenever you are out shopping for inventory. You never know which magazine is a goldmine. Magazines are as low as a dime at many thrift stores and garage sales are a great place to find them as well. Sell them in lots and make lots and lots.
